Events style: Heritage civic hall, ceremonies & formal gatherings
History
Opened in 1707 as a civic chamber and assembly room, Brackley Town Hall has stood at the heart of the Market Place for more than three centuries. A Victorian front wing was added in 1883, and a major National Lottery Heritage Fund restoration in 2016 returned the Grade II building to safe, modern use while keeping its atmosphere intact.
What to know
The first-floor Civic Hall (lift accessible) is licensed for wedding ceremonies and suits receptions, dinners, training days, and cultural events. Dry hire gives organisers freedom over catering and suppliers. It is an easy walk from many town-centre homes Harrison Homes helps clients buy or let.
For buyers & tenants
For buyers considering Market Place apartments or nearby streets, evening noise is usually modest except during civic events. Parking is typically town-centre limited — ask us which addresses include a dedicated space.
