Optimum opportunities for Greengold investors

Greengold Optimum presents even more opportunities for investors looking to take advantage of the growing market for soft commodities. In the past year alone, wheat prices have risen by 83%.

As investment in international property wanes in the wake of the US and UK property crises, land is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most secure and lucrative investments on the market. It is estimated that world population in 2010 will be three times greater than in 1950. As population increases, there is a greater demand for food, directly benefiting the owners of arable land.

Robin King, a movewithus founding director, said: “Interest in arable land investments has been growing ever since the original Project Greengold was launched in mid-2007. The simplicity of Greengold Optimum along with the favourable market conditions makes it perfect for both first-time and experienced investors who want a hassle-free investment to expand their portfolio.”

Greengold Optimum is the next step in the evolution of Project Greengold. It presents a number of new opportunities for investors, including a significant rise in rental income. Instead of a flat-rate of 10% per annum over ten years, investors now receive a rental income that rises by one percent each year.  It means that after ten years, investors will be receiving double the rental income that they received during the first year.

The new investment also presents a number of different exit strategies. After four years, investors have the option of withdrawing half their initial investment with an additional guaranteed capital appreciation of 20%.  After eight years, the guaranteed capital appreciation rises to 60% and after 12 years, 80%*.

As well as the financial rewards, Greengold Optimum is an environmentally sound investment. Situated on virgin farmland, the development has been soil and irrigation tested to make sure that it is suitable for crop production. Great efforts have been made to protect the surrounding environment and preserve the natural beauty of Argentina.

Robin King said: “Argentina is one of the fastest growing economies in the world with a sound governmental and economic structure which is reflected in the vast rise in outside investment in the country. Per acre, Greengold Optimum agricultural land costs £833. Compared to £4,129 in the UK and with a much faster capital appreciation, the benefits are obvious. Property investment may be tricky at the moment, but if you’ve got a land investment, you’re in the money!“
